Practical questions

Ask another question
What swimming level do I need?

You should feel comfortable in deep water and be able to swim a short distance. Malcolm adapts the sessions to your level, from beginners wanting to improve their technique to experienced swimmers.

Do we only practise front crawl?

No. Front crawl is central to open-water swimming, but you can also work on breaststroke and backstroke depending on your goals. The focus is on fluidity, efficiency and breathing, whichever stroke you use.

How does swimming with dolphins work?

At Sataya Reef, dolphins live freely. We swim respectfully without touching or chasing them. Their presence and movements remain natural: encounters follow their rhythm.

Do I need any special equipment?

Bring your swimsuit, goggles and a swimming cap if you have one. Fins and snorkeling equipment are available aboard. Full equipment is provided for the optional €50 introductory dive.

We’ll help you choose the session and cabin that suit you.
